Who we are

This website, agedventures.co.za, is operated by Aged Ventures (the “responsible party” under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (“POPIA”)), of 7 Queen Square, Glenhazel, Johannesburg, 2192, South Africa. You can reach us about anything in this policy at info@agedventures.co.za.

What we collect, and why

We only collect personal information that you choose to give us:

• Contact form — your name, email address, message, and optionally your mobile number and company. We use these solely to respond to your inquiry and to conduct the business conversation you have asked for.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or analytics profiling on this website. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Who processes your information

To operate this website we use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

• our website hosting provider, Cloudflare;
• a form delivery service, Web3Forms, which emails your inquiry to us; and
• our email provider, Microsoft 365, which holds that email.

Each processes your information only to provide those services to us. Some of these providers may store data outside South Africa; where they do, they are subject to their own data protection obligations and our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any business relationship that follows, after which they are deleted. You may ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may, at any time and free of charge:

• ask what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or update it;
• ask us to delete it;
• object to our processing of it.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against loss, unauthorised access, and misuse, appropriate to the nature of the information we hold.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new “last updated” date.
